hm.... lately i've been watching non-TVB series and some TVB too
What im currently watching: Hana Kimi [Jap], Men Don't Cry [HK], Best Selling Secrets [HK], The Seventh Day [HK], War of In-Laws {HK]
I just finished: Tokyo Juliet [TW], Smiling Pasta [TW], Yukan Club [Jap], Survivor's Law II [HK], Colorful Life [HK], Brown Sugar Macchiato [TW]
Also, ive been REALLY busy with school stuff, soo much homework and i have TONS of things due on Friday and i have to do a literature report and im not even done with the STUPID book its sooo boring, i start reading like one page and i get sleepy

Anthony: i let my friend borrow mines and then she said that she lost it (i only had it for like 2 months xp) and then i went to buy a new one so my parents wont find out that i lost it and then like a couple of days later my friend said that she found it so then now i have 2 ipods

Huette sis: I'm definitely watching Heart of Greed II because of Rayda :D and more importantly, RAYMOND's in it! :]

I'm watching heart of greed II because of most of the younger and older generation mostly as couples and seperate though I would prefer bernice or yoyo in the place of kate.

i haven't been watching a lot of series lately, not because i don't want to but because the disks that i rent at my rental place never works on my dvd player, it plays for a bit and then stops and goes slow motion for the rest of it. It's aggravating! I think im going to have to switch rental places.

Did anyone watch The Building Blocks of Life yet? I have it all, but i keep falling asleep, supposedly Alex Fong is really good in here.

I haven't been watching alot of tvb lately cos the disks i get don't work on my dvd player, and i've been quite busy with university applications and such lately.
I'm currently watching Best Selling Secrets, Master of Taichi, The Seventh Day, wasabi Mon Amour and i just finished The Gentle Crackdown 2. i need a lot of catching up to do, though i think i may skip wasabi mon amour.

I didnt finish WOIL2 either, i stopped watching near the end.

yes I noticed it's been quiet here too no one's been starting conversations with each other. Oh I finished the series you guys are watching except for best selling secrets and the gentle crackdown 2. Best selling secrets didn't start on it yet and the gentle crackdown 2 skipped. Watched some of master of tai chi I'm gonna finish it off. I'm currently watching D.I.E. and am gonna start on a journey called life soon. WOIL 2 was ok I watched it cuz of boscolie, liza sort of, joyce and some other supporting people.

Hey guys. Im doing an international business infomercial on China and im looking for a scene where someone plays the big drum thing.
Sorry, i dont know how to expain it but for eg. In ancient series, when someone wants to sue another person they'd go outside in the front and and grab the drum sticks and play the drums. I'm sure theres that scene in a theme video of some series but i dont remember what series. Could you please help me out since you guys are the tvb experts and i really can't rememebr now. Thanks!

I think generally the scenes at festivals and fairs with the dragon dancers, they're drum players.
I think you could just search for some vids at youtube.

I haven't finished Wars of In-Laws II, Building Blocks of Life, Marriage of Inconvenience, Word Twisters' Adventures, Ultimate Crime Fighter, Fathers and Sons, Men Don't Cry, Steps, Phoenix Rising...
The last one I finished was the Drive of Life...
I'm not planning to get Survivor's Law II... It just doesn't look appealing to me...

I hope the earthquakes stop in China :) All luck to Burma too.

watching a film called love is a butterfly right now..dug it out..havent watched it in a long time..one of the films charmaine sheh filmed when she first came out..got so many people in it..talks about four girls (charmaine, nicola cheung, loletta lee and rachel ngan (guys being edmond leung and benny chan) anyone seen it? it's got so many cameos..sharon chan, evergreen mak and leila tong just appeared..haha..everyone looks so young..

What are you guys currently watching? Ihaven't been watching a lot of TVB lately, just bits and pieces. I've finished Catched me now and iliked it. Im currently watchin Silver Chambers of Sorrow which i also like and The Flaming Butterfly with Rain Li and Michael Tong. I watched the first episode of Money Maker's Recipe but gave up on it. The cast doesn't really appeal to me either.

Have you guys heard the rumour about how Gallen, Jamie Chik and Ray Lui may get together to film a grand production for TVB in November? i heard rumours that Kenix might come back for this too, but im not sure how accurate the news are. I reallly hope that she'll come back to do this.

Anyways, HAVE A GREAT SUMMMER EVERYONE.

Has anyone seen the poster for Moonlight Resonance?

It looks really nice and I like it, but it resembles too much of HOG's poster...

I'm not sure if I'll watch the series, since it's basically the same as Heart of Greed with a different setting and every swapping roles...
But it's 'suppose' to be a whole different series to HOG, so I might give it a chance when it comes out...
(I'm not a fan of the Heart of Greed by the way).

Thanks for posting the poster, AM. I think it looks nice and is similar to Heart of Greed's too. I think I will watch the series. I haven't watched Heart of Greed yet, but I will soon. I don't think I'm going to like it though. I know Moonlight Resonance is totally a different story, yet it still seems so alike, so I don't know if I'll enjoy it or not. I do hope it'll be interesting.

i cant wait to watch moonlight resonance!! it looks awesome!! but i think it'll be really confusing..i read about it on wikipedia..they have 7 kids altogether..and funnily enough their name makes up "ga ho yuet yuen hing jung chau" its like they planned on having so many kids or something..odd family..i think ah ho sounds a bit gay for raymond..anyone knows whats the name of the new kid right on the end of the poster??

I really didn't enjoy Heart of Greed the first time and I didn't (and still don't) know why so many praised the series... I gave up on it, and it's almost been a year, so I think I might re-watch it and then finish it...
I'm having my holidays, so I really should catch-up on tvb... but I have too many series to catch up on...

I don't think I would like Heart of Greed either because I have watched bits and pieces of it, but the parts I watch are usually when they're arguing. It's so annoying, but I think I should watch it before saying that for sure.

Sometimes I buy series that I "know" that I won't like and but I know that I would regret not watching it... so I buy it anyway...
And yes, I don't like the conflicts in Heart of Greed... And really don't like Raymond+Linda's relationship... And for the Yoyo-haters... I actually liked her character...
I also don't like the family singing and chatting...

Yeah...Usually when I think I won't like a series, yet the ratings for that series was quite high, I feel that I should watch it to see if I am wrong or not.

As for Raymond and Linda, I think they match in appearance, but I'll have to wait and see about their chemistry or whatever. I'll comment later about my thoughts for the series because I'm just on ep 4.

I have to agree that moonlight resonance's poster is a lot like heart of greed's except for a few new people added into it who weren't in heart of greed. I am currently watching speech of silence, best selling secrets on the computer and on dvd. On tv I am watching the family link. I am for sure going to watch when a dog falls in love with a cat. Are any of you going to watch this series? I don't think I will be liking bernice's character at all. I must agree with you AM I also didn't like linda and raymond as a pairing in heart of greed I prefered moses and linda I can't believe they are going to make them a couple again I don't think they'll look any better together. I actually liked yoyo's character I didn't hate her character at all.

I think Linda acted quite well in Heart of Greed, but I really didn't like her character...
And I've read that her character in Moonlight Resonance is PRETTY MUCH the same...
I do like grand-productions like these but they really have too many main characters that it loses the focus. I think a good grand-production should have about 8 main characters (as opposed to around 2, 4 or 5 leads in a regular series).
