I was born in Hong Kong, and emigrated to Boston, Massachusetts at a young age. As a child, I had hoped to become a Dancer, but because of an injury, I was forced to abandon my dreams. I attended Boston College and earned a degree in Journalism before returning to Hong Kong in the early 1990s with my then-husband. Rather than getting started from a beauty pageant, such as the Miss Hong Kong Pageant, I became a reporter for TVB Pearl. In the mid 1990s, television director, Teng Dak Hei asked me to particpate in one of his upcoming series, and as a result, my talent was reconginsed, and I soon signed with TVB. I divorced my then-husband in 2000, but I am now happily married, with a baby on the way. I am currently not signed with TVB, though I have plans to return.
I was born in the United States of America, and graduated from the University of Los Angeles. I then moved to Hong Kong to pursue my dreams as a singer, and during that time, I also starred in many movies, though I was unsuccessful in establishing myself. Until 1996, I was in a relatinship with a fellow singer from the same Record Company, but due to some private issues, we broke up. Having enough of showbiz, I returned to America to continue my studies. About 7 years later, I returned to Hong Kong, and signed with TVB, and began to take on many small roles. After a few years of hard work and dedication, I was able to gain popularity from the public, and I was soon promoted by TVB. In the process, I also had the honour of winning TVB's Best Actor Award.
I am the Grand-Daughter of the "Father of Hong Kong Cinema". My father was born deaf, and when I was 14, my family went bankrupt, and I then entered the Entertainment Industry to support my whole family. I am well known for my beautiful image, and was dubbed by the Hong Kong media as the "Goddess of Beauty". When I first entered this industry, I started out as a singer, and released numerous albums in the early 1990s, when I also began my career in acting. I starred in many successful movies, and also acted in many tv dramas. In 2004, my popularity rose with many fans from Hong Kong and Mainland China. Today, I am a Leading Actress at TVB, and a spokesperson for a Fashion Company.
I was raised by both my mother and grandmother. I learn to cook from watching cooking show on tv while my mother was at work. My favorite cooking show was Magic Chef. My mother is my best friend and I tell my mother everything. I made Chiu Chow Fried Noodles for my mother on Mother's Day.
I was born in Vancouver, Canada, as the youngest in the family. I graduated from Templeton Secondary School in 2002, and continued my studies at the University of British Columbia, Canada. After winning Miss Chinese International, I signed with TVB, as a rising newcomer. Today, I've become a popular actress in Hong Kong, with many sponsors and advertisement deals. I've also released an album, establishing myself as a singer.
I join the Hong KOng entertainmetn industry in 1996, after placing 1st runner up in MIss Chinese International in 1996. I represented San Francisco. I graduated with a major in internation relations and a minor in marketing in San Francisco State University.
I first started acting in 1983 at ATV. I was unsuccessful in gaining fame, and switched over to TVB after joining the New Talent Singing Awards in 1984. By 1996, I've become quite popular with the Hong Kong audience. Since then I've starred in numerous series, along side many of TVB's leading actresses. In 2003, I left TVB to focus on acting in Mainland China. I am still the only actor to have won the TVB Best Actor Awards, 3 times.
