Yes, Savio did kill Cherie but she had planned to die anyway, so doesn't that count as committing suicide because I see that as same case as Waise Lee in Cold Blood Warm Heart and Liu Kai Chi in Snowy Mountain '99. They all planned to die with the bad guy.

(Halina died in the arms of Nancy Sit).
Joel Chan was then chased by Frankie Lam and Timmy Hung, and he was soon cornered at the cliff, and slipped off, so he didn't actually commit suicide.

I just rewatched TOB and VOH a while ago
Nancy was killed but technically its suicide cuz just stood there to get killed
Joe killed Halina then he jumped off the cliff becuase he didnt want to be arrested
In CHange of Destiny it was suide wasnt it cuz his mom just took the hits from the people who were beating

maybe my deffinition of suicide is different than yours...

He blew up because he was overpowered... There was nothing he could do to change that.
