So far in the year, there has been characters that a likable, and some that are not.
Here you can list the characters (Not the Actors and Actresses) that you like and hate.
Characters that i like: -Sharon Chan in LWOLAP I think she is very sweet and funny.
-Evergreen Mak in LWOLAP He is very brave, and is very nice anf generous. and i also like him because he let Bosco and Sharon be together.
-Benny Chan in the Biter Bitten His character is very smart and likable.
-Wayne Lai in Safe Guards. I liked his transition from bad to good.
Characters that i hate: -Tavia Yeung in A Pillow Case of Mystery. I found her very annoying, and i hated her when she thought her mother was unfaithful.
-Ben Wong in Safe Guards. I hated him so much. He is so sly and fake. I hated it when he pretended to be the "nice" one.
-Jack Wu in the Biter Bitten. Cheating on your girlfriend is bad enough, but dumping her and blaming everything on her is so unforgiveble.
That's probably all for me for now, since i haven't watched many 2006 series yet.
Who said i hate Tavia Yeung???????? I said i hated Tavia's Character in A Pillow Case of Mystery (Ming Chu). There's a big difference.
Even if i do hate Tavia (actress), it's my opinion. It's like how you hate Myolie, but i don't hate her. We should respect each other's opinions even though we don't agree with them.
-Gigi Lai in Dance of Passion Her character is very strong, unique and interesting. At the beginning, i liked the way how she created trouble for Bowie's character, and i also liked her transition from hating him to liking him.
-Raymond Lam in La Femme Desperado His character is very enjoyable to watch, and i liked him at the beginning how he tries to be with Melissa's character.
Characters that i hate:
-Vinci Wong in Dance of Passion. His character was such a coward. He was deeply in love with a woman, but didn't have courage to elope with her, because of his brother. And afterwards, he tried to win her love back, but it was too late.
-Melissa Ng in La Femme Desperado Her character wasn't evil, or anything, but i found her to be very weak and annoying. She was afraid of her husband and afraid of her family. Her character got even worse when she made Sheren (Hilda) lose her job. She's so naive and gullable.
- Stephen Au in The Biter Bitten - he's evil, but he made Benny Chan seem evil (he made it look like Benny hurt him)
- Chairmaine Li in War and Destiny - she has the most extreme mood swings - really rebellious, and doesn't truly understand that people really cared for her when they were really poor and stuff.
Love:
- Bosco Wong in Under the Canopy of Love - so cute, and adorable ! - very loyal to friends, and wouldn't lie to you - although loyal, can stick up for himself. and willing to die for his love.
- Benny Chan in Biter Bitten - Very intelligent and witty - cute and sweet ! - Very funny !!
Hate & like:
- Claire Yiu in UTCOL, hate because she broke Kevin & Niki up, but like, because she kinda gave Bosoc a chance with Niki. =)
-Shirley Yeung in Au Revoir Shanghai. She is so naive, and is always believes what Power Chan says, and is always on his side instead of Bosco's.
-Power Chan in Au Revoir Shanghai. Simply one word; FAKE. His character is so sly, and pretends to be nice. I really hated him when Bosco made the swing for Shirley and he said that he made it. And when Shirley was in the Hospital, Bosco brought food for Shirley, and Shirley thought he brought it, but he didn't deny it.
Like:
-Bosco Wong in Au Revoir Shanghai. He is very loyal, kind and righteous. Very enjoyable to watch.
Hate: -Lee Kwok Lun in Forensic Heroes-selfish, ruthless etc. -Ron Ng in War and Destiny-Bad temper, naive, gullible, does not think before he acts. -Myolie Wu in War and Destiny-Submissive, keeps everything to herself, tries to help everyone, kind of nosy. She has the most annoying quote: "I didn't want to tell father, because i was afraid that he wouldn't be able cope". Se says this so many times.
Like: -Sunny Chan in WAD-intelligent, responsible, patriotic etc.
Other ones that i forgot to mention before: Hate: -Stephen Au in Biter Bitten. -Chung King Fai in DOP. -Eric Lee in LWOLAP.
Like: -Natalie Tong in UTCOL. -Power Chan in LWOLAP. -Michael Tse in LFD.
More characters: Love: -Chan Hung Lit in CIB Files. I think he was very funny, and even though he had done many wrong things in the past, he tried his best to make things beter with his sons. -Selena Li in Face to Fate. I think her character was very entertaining to watch, and her chemistry with Raymond Lam, was pretty good. -Evergreen Mak and Fiona Yuen in Face to Fate. Even though their parts were pretty small, they had great chemistry and the characters/acting were awesome. -Charmaine Sheh in Maiden's Vow. I like all her characters, Bak Wai Zhen is my Favourite One out of all her characters.
Hate: -Christine Ng in CIB Files. She's so weird, always starting arguements with Bowie, and blaming everything on him. -Nancy Wu in Face to Fate. She's so stubborn and always gets into trouble, but she did mature in the end. -John Chiang in Face to Fate. He's so two faced and sly, and even killed Anne. At least he did something good before he died. -Tavia Yeung in Face to Fate. Like Nancy, she is also very stubborn, and thinks she's always right, and always giving Frankie attitude. -Sammul Chan in Maiden's Vow (1st character). I hated him so much at the beginning, and i was happy when he changed in the middle, but i was only disappointed again.
Like: -Steven Ma in Land of Wealth. -Sonija Kwok in Land of Wealth (Only before she married John Chiang). -Yoyo Mun in At Home With Love. -Chung King Fai in At Home With Love. -Charmaine Sheh in Glittering Days.
Hate: -Kenny Wong, Lau Dan, Rebecca Chan, Chris Lai, Chan Hung Lit, Stephen Wong, Kwok Fung, Gregory Lee in Land of Wealth. -Joel Chan in Glittering Days. -Evergreen Mak in Glittering Days. -Sharon Chan in Glittering Days.
I have alot but these popped in my head Hate: Joel Chan in Glittering Days Joel Chan in Heavenly in Law (he loves to do the 60's-70's era i realized) Kenny Wong in Land of Wealth- i haven't seen a major improvement in this person Myolie Wu in To Grow With Love- her character may be, by far, my most hated character of 2006. Kate Tsiu in The Price of Greed- all she does is cry and weep. Myolie Wu in War and Destiny
Favorites: Steven Ma in Safe Guards Wayne Lai in Safe Guards- the speech he made when he gave the keys to Steven (and the position) was mind blowing! I rewinded it a couple of times. I really thought he deserved the award much more than Kenny Moses Chan in Land of Wealth John Chiang in Land of Wealth Sunny Chan in War and Destiny- after this series, i really like Sunny! His performance was excellent
I agree with yours, Jenn.. and yes, i noticed that Joel Chan does like that era..
Okay, the latest 2 series that i've watched is Dicey Business and Heavenly In-Laws... I must admit that i was Really disappointed in Dicey Business.... I mean, the first hald of the series was VERY GOOD AND EXCITING, but after that, the story dragged on, and everyone's characters just seem to lose themself...
Like: -Linda Chung in Heavenly in-Laws (Yes, her character was very entertaining, and she has improved).
Hate: -Bosco Wong in Dicey Business (He changed TOO quickly, and always believing in Michael instead of his brother). -Michael Miu (He did so many bad things just to keep his reputation... so selfish... and if he took Benz Hui to the Hospital earlier, he may have had a chance to live...).
Since Heavenly In-Laws and Dicey Business, I've seen the Brink of Law, Devil's Disciples, Best Bet, Life Art and the first few episodes of the Slicing of the Demon.

Hate: -Ngok Wah (is that his name?) in the Brink of Law. -Vin Choi in the Brink of Law. -Kate Tsui in the Brink of Law (Annoying, especially after Kenneth died). -Queenie Chu in Life Art (urghh..) -Possibly Michael Tse in Best Bet...
