I choose A Step into the Past.
Sonija Kwok got married, so Louis Koo decided to help John Tang go back in time because John said he could send Louis back to when Sonija was still with him. Liu Kai Chi told Louis he had to go back to the Qin dynasty to take pictures of Ying Jen ascending to the throne. Liu Kai Chi gave Louis a camera, a gun, and two pills (which are in the device). After Louis went back in time, he saw a bunch of men on horses and was shocked.

Is that good enough?

at the end of the first episode, moses was suppose to start work, but halfway through the journey to work with his dad, he bribes the cart puller in stopping for him so he can get off and leg it. After ditching his dad he coincidently finds his way to the area where anne was working as a "flower girl". There was a commotion going on outside the cafe where a man was "feeling up" anne (lol) and was trying to get her to serve him. Chan hung lit managed to find his way to the scene and sees the commotion. He is not happy about what he find and dis-invite anne to dinner. Then he praises moses which leads anne into thinking that moses did it on purpose.

Virtues Of Harmony
Nancy, Joyce, Michael, Bondy and Louis was by a river to let a fish go free so that they'll would live a fortunate life and before Nancy let go of the fish she putted a coin in the fish's mouth. All of them except Nancy cursed the fish so if someone catched their fish the person will get all the bad things.
Then you see Yvonne in the market she has bought a fish for dinner but because of an accident she must go to the (same) river to get some water for the fish so it wouldn't die. Unfortunately she dropped the fish into the water but managed to catch the fish that Nancy let go.
At the dinner when Nancy took a bite of the fish she found the coin, all of them got scared of the cursings they made (except for Yvonne, because she didn't eat it). Then they heard that the town's new official just had an accident right outside their house and they were hoping that all the bad things would transfer to him instead, but it turned out that the new official was Frankie.

Healing Hands 3
Bowie Lam went to see Maria Chan. She described her artwork to him. Afterwards, Bowie broke up with her. Then Bowie was in the hospital. Melissa Ng came to look at his injury. She asked him how he injured himself and he said he injured himself at home. Then Lawrence Ng also came over and ask who did that to him. Bowie gave him a look and Lawrence understood who had done it. Then Lawrence left. As Lawrence left, the news was talking about Yoyo Mung's death. Gigi Lai was the one who examined Yoyo's dead body. The policeman who was there with Gigi suspected that Yoyo had committed suicide.

AT the end of Square Pegs, Raymond Cho's uncle decides that he has to "get rid" or Roger Kwok becuase he is getting in the way of him and Raymond taking all of Yeun Wah's money since he (roger) is Yeun Wah's real son. The two then hires some henchmen to throw Roger in the water while tying him up so he would drown. However right after Raymond sent his order to the henchmen he runs into Leila, his wife, and she was able to convinced him that what he's doing is wrong. So naturally he tries to stop the attack but instead injured his foot while he runs to the docks. Luckily. Jessica (Roger's wife) was there to help. She dashed to the dock and successfully saave Roger, who has regain most of his memories becuase drowning had brough back some repressed memories in his brain. Just when Jessica and Roger finally accepted thier love for each other and decides to be a real couple, Jessica remembers Winnie (Roger's tutor/ old fiancee). Since Roger is no longer the kid like man Jessica is married to, but instead a smart manwho is already engaged, Jessica has no choice to be return him to his "true love" Winnie. But despite, regaining his memories, Roger still remembers the time he spent with Jessica when he had amnesia. In the end, all three decides to take a break from it all and travel to different parts of the world. They are reunited when all 3 returns to back to china.

I only talked abou the main love triangle.. is that ok?

The Biter Bitten
Benny and Michael Tong came back from Hong Kong after graduation, and were both asked to help run the family business. Benny's mom asked him to run the auction center but his grampa wanted him to work in his dad's cloth factory, but Michael's uncle wants them to work in the zoo. Well they later work in the zoo and Michael falls in love with Linda and promises he would stay there.
After the white baby tiger disappears and Benny and Michael investigates this and eventually finds out who kidnapped it. Everyone changed their views on them after this incident and finds out that they have great detectivee skills. But Benny still hasn't gotten out of the danger from being locked up working in the auction place, zoo or factory.
Later there was a national treasure auction held but all buyers reject to get it, and the seller has disappeared as well, and there are even news saying that is not the real treasure. In the same time, the zoo building site digs out somethine, Michael and Benny recognizes it is the copper dog head in the auction.

Umm..ok but I think that you and I watched two different versions then, because in my version the first episode ends there. I don't know which version you watched so I don't know which ending you are looking for..it could be the ending of the second episode in my version.

Roger's mother is trying to find him a wife. Then she told her husband (ben huiz?) that years ago this lady gamble and owed a lot of money so she sign a paper saying tha she'll marry her daughter to her son.
So She went to Jessica's house and saw Rebecca, Jessica's step mother. And she asked to marry Leila. Rebecca wouldnt marry Leila to Roger cause he Mental (in a way). She offered to repay the money but Roger's Mother (sorry dont know the name) wouldnt take it. Then she said on certain date (dont remember) she'll come to get Leila.

Then Next sceen Roger went to find Jessica to give her a string for her bracelet. Jessica thought that the string was from Roger Poop. Roger told her it wasnt and he wanted to find out if the string matches her bead or fit. When jessica took the bead out roger wanted her to wear it. Then he wanted to help her put it on her wrist. Then they talk about that match maker in heaven. Then he asked since he tide the string on her wrist does it mean she is his wife.

really? oh dang! ok i wanna try again then. But i saw SP on tv inseatd of renting the tapes so it might different from what uve seen.

ALl the characters are introduced. Roger's mom had instructed him to go deliver some pastries he ended up being picked on by some kids so was tricked into climbing up a tree. Jessica happens to pass by and helps him down as well as take him home. On the way home, Roger starts to talk about how he is gonna get a wife soon and Jessica whispered to herself that any girl who ends up as his wife would be miserable. Meanwhile Roger's mom runs into Jessica's stepmother. Roger's mom reminded Rebecca (jessica's stepmom) that they made a deal a while back when Rebecca borrowed some money. Rebecca would let her daughter marry Roger if she can brorow some money from his mom. However Rebecca found out that Roger isnt exactly the "ideal man" and pretends that she dosnt remember the deal and leaves. Leila is introduced as Jesica's sister who meets Raymond Cho and instantly likes him. Back to Roger and Jessica. Roger accidentally swallows Jessica's bracelet and has to go to the bathrom (lol) to get it back out. He even drops his pants in front of her to prove that he's trying to help... jessica's dad saw them and forces roger's dad to "take respinsibility". He returns it to her and even puts it on for her saying that she is a nice girl and would love to have her as a wife.
The episode ends here for me but if u wanna refer to the 1-hr long ep version here is what happened next:

Jessica goes to talk to Raymond about buying an old restrueant to start a tea house. He agrees becuase he has a crush on her. coienceidentally Leila hurts her leg so he uses the excuse of giving leila some medicine to come see Jessica. Leila of course takes this as Raymond liking her. Naturally Raymond and Jessica gets some misunderstanding and Raymond thinks that Jessica likes him back. Next day he returned to propose but of course Leila was there and thinks that he is proposing to her instead. Meanwhile Roger's mom brings proof to Rebecca and forces her to let Leila marry Roger. When Leila found out she is devastated.

Ok..so I've searched on different videosites and watched the first episode of VOH again and it was the same version as mine, it ended when they found out that the new official was Frankie.
But it could be that in your version they put episode 1 and 2 together..I'm just guessing cause you said that the part that I was describing happened half way into the episode.
Anyway episode two in my version ended like this:

When Frankie was looking around in his "courthouse" he found that there was a broken window in a room and there was a rope hanging from it, he pulled it and the window closed just as his two constables came in, right after the window closed some brick fell down from the roof. Frankie got mad because a courthouse shouldn't look like that, he told the two constables to fix it but they didn't want to.
Then you see Joyce and Bondy having a fight over hair accessories because Michael bought two exactly the same to each of them. Frankie comes home right after that and he and Michael are having a short conversation about how tough it is being a human. Michael also found out that Frankie put a ladder in the courthouse.
At the dinner table Frankie is still thinking about how to fix the broken window and he leaves the table without eating and the others hears him mumble about something.
The other family members are wondering whats wrong with him and the conversation leads to that Frankie might be comitting suicide.
Frankie is writing something on a paper in his room and sees that it's starting to rain, he torns the paper apart and goes to the courthouse to fix the window. Right after he left the other family members went to his room and found the pieces of paper and they thought that he was really going to commit suicide and Michael remembers about the ladder.
Frankie got scared when they all rushed into the room with the broken window, he lost his balance and got stuck in a rope, it looked like he was going to hang himself but luckily he released himself and fell down. He explains that he was just trying to fix the window and Bondy is saying that it wasn't her fault (which they thought was one of the reasons to the suicide) just when some bricks from the roof almost fell on her.

Okay, all my episodes are viet dubbed, and I either buy them on video or on dvd/vcd.

Okay, so no one ended up doing A Recipe for the Heart... which I think was the hardest...

Yes, normally TVB series are about 45 min but I think sitcoms like VOH, WTTH, BSS etc are usually shorter and each episode are around 20-25 min. So all the VOH episodes I watched were around 20 min long. Maybe they put the episodes together on videos and DVDs, but I'm quite sure that the HK version are about 20 min (I watched some of it on TV in HK) ^^

Okays, but i think that was to the end of the first episode but:
I'll add more then.
Michael Tong plays around with the Tellurion, benny flashes on and solves the question. Benny reminded Michael that working in the zoo is an excuse to, and stays in Pan Yu.
Wu Fung is invited to be in charge of the digging job. He finds out the copper statue was eroded because of bats excrement. He also finds out the bat is in Guang Dong. Plus it has been owned by a Frenchman. And it disappeared in Guang Dong, and he suppose the copper statue is still in Pan Yu. Michael and Benny inspects around the zoo and know about the Pan Yu 10 Lions treasure cave myth. But not being allowed by Stephen Au, they are kicked out.

I think this is onto episode 2 but i don't know where you wanted me to explain to, so i just added in parts of episode two just in case.
