Well, we usually talk about stuff in 'Let's get to know each other better', but I think we should start
to talk more about ourselves, since we've been here on this site for quite some time... (years, actually)
Like the other day, I just realised that YingYing's name was Lina (well, I don't think I actually asked her before...)

So I think we should just all start talking again and I think by having another chatting sort-of place, it'll also be easier for new members to join in (since we've already gotten to know each other in the other thread). I just really think we've all just been a little untalkative (I'm not sure if this is a word), so I hope this makes Fun Zone more upbeat.

So, we should start sharing facts or news about ourselves or our lives, in a non-stalkish kind of way...
We could comment when someone says something, or give another opinion or bring up a particular issue etc.
I really hope this is a good idea, and doesn't end up like some of the other abandoned places...!
Though, I hope we can still talk in the other thread.

Okay, let's start with something simple...
Well, I can't ride a bike.
Not that I've tried recently, but ever since childhood, I just can't keep my balance.
I'm sure I could ride one, if it had training wheels. I'm more of a scooter/skateboard kinda person.
I actually prefer walking...

So someone may say that they have a bike, and/or bring up something about themself...
:)

I just realised how much I typed. I'm usually very bored at this hour.
(It's almost midnight, so I'm going to bed...)

I don't really like this little 'editing' thing here at the bottom.
It makes me suspicious that someone may think that I had a spelling error.
(Which I did, I had like 5).

I think I can ride a bike, but I'm not very sure. I used to when I was younger, but haven't in a long, long time.

I can't swim, but I do have a pool at my house.

i cant swim either..i dont even know how to float..only know how to sink..haha..but i can however ride a bike..but haven't ridden one in years..can also drive..been driving for bout 4/5 years.. =D

i can ride a bike but not recently.
last time i rode a bike was 10 years ago, lolz.
i cant swim that good.
like im the only one in my family that cant swim.
i can drive, but i hate it.
like its very tiring.
idk maybe ive been in a car to much.
like every two years or so we would drive to texas and we live in south carolina.
omg i would get carsick.
however i do love traveling.
i rather live on a plane than a car.

I know how to ride a bike I rid when I was younger now I don't ride anymore I just forgot how to ride. I know how to swim I only got up to level 5 of swimming. I can't drive yet too young to get a driver's license in canada.

I can swim. I think...
I could get my driver's license, but I'm not really keen on driving. I don't think I would be a good driver. I take public transport everyday (bus) to get to school.

ah icic..driving is fun!! everyone takes public transport before they know how to drive, and then theres no turning back once you get a car..hehe..

I can drive but I do not like to drive. Because I am the oldest of four, my family wanted me to learn how to drive and get my driver's license asap so I could drive my siblings to school; then they won't have to because before I could drive, I would have to ask them to take me places. I actually didn't have them drive me to many places, unless it was necessary like to school for concerts (I used to play the flute) or to go buy stuff for school use, because I don't want to bother them either.

AM: nope it's a special name but it's not french it's the girl name opposite of boy name hugo

I feel that this is really embarassing but I'm afraid of animals in particular dogs, cats, hamsters except for insects like flies, bees, ants etc.

I'm scared of insects/bugs. I'm not a big pet lover either, but I do think some dogs are cute when I see pics.

No, I don't have any pets. We used to have turtles and goldfishes but not anymore.

i use to have a dog..we bought him home when he was very small and we could carry him in our arms..but then he grew absolutely massive and we couldnt control him so we had to give him away =(think hes living in a farm now..so he should be very happy there though i miss him loads..

we have 2 terrapins at home..they dont grow much..lol..also fishies..i think all chinese families have goldfish..lol

I'm the youngest in the family, so everyone basically does EVERYTHING for me...
I've got 3 dogs. They're very noisy... They bark a lot at night.
I'm not really scared of any animals, unless they're big and dangerous.
I had some fish when I was young... but I think I overfed them... (they're dead now).
I didn't know what terrapins were, so I googled them... :) So, I know now...
We have 2 Tiffanys!! Anyway, your chicks are very cute!!

i want fishes, turtles, ducks, chickens, pigs.
i know i should live on a farm, lolz.

I had goldfishes when I was younger but they died and I had other fish also when I was younger the ones that u have to put in different bowls or else they'll fight together. I'm an only child. My cousin is the opposite of me she loves animals but is scared of insects.

Does anyone have any interesting talents?
This may sound odd, but I can blow bubbles with my saliva... (I make bubbles in my mouth, and they actually blow out)... I know a friend who can do it too.
I'm trying to learn the guitar at the moment, but I've been lazy, so I haven't touched in a while.
My sister bought a karaoke machine today...

I played in band, but I wasn't that good though.
In fact, my sister played the violin and my brother is playing the viola in strings. My youngest brother and my cousin have just started playing the violin too. Well, my youngest bro is the one who has just started; my cousin already started learning last year.

I was in a choir when I was young.
The first year there was about 5 boys, and in the second year, I was the only boy...
I've never been good at sports... I'm more into the academic stuff...
I probably best at volleyball and hockey.

i was in the choir in primary school!!! hehe..and i played the violin too..but i wasnt very good..only got into like grade 3..after like 10 years..haha..didnt really like playing it..and i forced into the orchestra cos anyone learning an instrument barr piano in high school must join the orchestra or wind band..hehe..

Yeah, I used to sing up until middle school; that's when I started to play the flute in band.
I used to be in signing choir too, where we did sign language to lyrics of different songs. I don't remember much of it anymore.

Hey, I did something like that too! We had to learn sign language for 2 particular songs...
(When we performed, we had to wear white gloves that glowed in the dark. Lol)

Hey guys, its been a while!

Anthony, i was busy yesterday so i didnt get to see the closing for the Olympics, but i heard it was really good. Im surprised you found it boring.

Michael Phelps is AMAZING! Im such a fan now aha.

i recently purchased The Charm Beneath, and just finished watching it. i still love it to pieces. I think im going to purchase Golden Faith soon since its one of my all time favorites.

On another note, im glad that Kenix is a confirmed cast on the grand production series with Gallen Lo & Jamie Chik. (or thats what i heard)

alright, since everyones doing it:

My name is Jenn, im 18. In two weeks ill be starting my first day of classes in university. Im doing commerce. Im a vegetarian since the age of 7, im not the best driver, my worst fear are rodents ( i cant even look at a picture of them), my favorite movie is Shawshank Redemtion, im incandescently in love with The Twilight Saga. (Im sure some of you guys heard it, the book Twilight. Im not much of a reader but i so obsessed with these novels & cant wait till the movie comes out), im IN LOVE with bubble tea (likemost asians).
Im picky with my eggs, i can only eat the yellow part in scrambled eggs and i can only eat the white parts in a sunny side up.

Thats all for now. Oh, also Raymond, Linda and Bernice were suppose to come to Toronto on the 22nd. I was so excited, got dressed and all ready to go to the airport but i got a call saying that all Hong kong flights were cancelled. Im soo bummed out. Now ill have to wait and see till when they reschedule it. *sigh*

Oh my god, my cousin in obseesed with the Twiglight books!! She wants me to read it, but I can't be bothered, since I hate reading...

Tavia and Moses are coming to Australia, and I'll be seeing them in 11 days!!! (If I go).

Ying ying, yea raymond did come to Canada already. Im so mad cos i thought they were going to reschedule the flight to like some other day in the next week or so, but they just delayed the flight. Argh, i didnt know that they come to Toronto already until i saw my friend's posted pictures.

I guess theres always next time :(

Anthony, aww you're soo LUCKY that you get to see Moses! And seriously, give the novels a try. I promise you that you'll like them. Im not much of a reader myself but i LOVE these boooks!

The twilight books are about Vampires. There's a movie based on the books coming out soon.
Me and my sisters are going to eat sushi at a Japanese restaurant this weekend.
I've never finished reading a book... I usually quit after the first 3 chapters (But I do/did read at school).

Ying Ying: aha when most people hear that its about a human falling in love with a vampire, they always want to NOT read it. But i always have to say, "trust me, its way better than it sounds."
But since you like vampire novels, you should really read it!

Anthony: Did i tell you about that? i forgot what happened but yea i didnt get to see him that time, but i did the time before that.

i had all you can eat sushi yesterday, im glad many of us like it here! I live for sushi! :)

I have heaps of aussie friends who hate sushi... Sometimes when we're out, they'll eat McDonald's and I'd eat sushi... I also like sashimi and seaweed salads.
I don't think I'm gonna go see Moses and Tavia this year. My sisters and I are a bit lazy...

I've started watching Forensic Heroes II a few days ago!! I'm up to disc 5, and it's all pretty good so far, though I disappointed in the decrease of Yoyo's screentime...
Does any here have any major phobias? My biggest fear is probably being stuck in a car wreck, or a plane crash.

I was sick last week, but feeling better now. I finished The Green Grass of Home last week. Phoenix Rising is playing now. I'm still watching On the First Beat, but will finish watching it next week (only 5 eps left). The Drive of Life is playing after that.

I was sick a few days ago too! But I'm good now, too.
I'm still watching Forensic Heroes II. I also have Vigilante Force, but haven't really started watching it, yet.
There's a tvb carnival with Moses and Tavia on Saturday, but I don't think i'll be going. I'm a bit busy on that day, and I really don't want to go wake up early in the morning to take a train there and having to wait at least 6 hours before they arrive... I was really tired last year and I didn't even get any autographs because there were so many people.

Oh, that's awful!! Hope you get better. My dad has some sort of ear infection right now too. He's using this eardrop thing...
I'm still studying, and I'm too lazy to get a job!! I don't think i'd be able to juggle both things. Plus, I've never worked before, so I think I'd be quite bad at any job. I don't spend much anyway, and my dad and sisters pay for everything...

Okay, I didn't go see Moses and Tavia... I was really lazy and I wanted to sleep in. The weather was terrible anyway. It rained all day. I've read some stuff from the people who did go, I think i should have went...
Instead, I got a haircut. I went to this new place because I sister wanted to go there. My hair was cut by this really old guy. I flipped through Men's Uno and said I wanted my hair like Daniel Wu, but it didn't really turn out right...

I watched up to disc 7, but i kinda stopped because I was busy. Then i sisters started to watch ahead of me and they're up to the cases with Leanne and the other actresses, so now i'm just watching along with them. I'd go back to watch the episodes that i missed later on. It's pretty good so far. I've heard some people say that the cases were boring, but I though most of them are pretty interesting. But so far, I definitely prefer number 1. I really think it was a bad idea to write Yoyo out, giving all the screentime to Charmaine. Don't get me wrong, cause Charmaine's one of my favourite actresses and i really like the way she acts, but it's just that i've really grown to like Yoyo's character since the last series, so it's a bummer now that she left...

Has everyone been reading the news about Kevin and Charmaine?? Well, it's not really news, since it's probably just rumours... But does anyone here believe that it's true? I've just read the two most recent articles, and though it's interesting, I don't think they're believable. The reporters are just trying to sell papers... But then again, years ago, no one really believed that Charmaine and Benny were really together, but it turns out that the rumours were true...

Thats all i hear now adays.
Even though i don't believe rumours, i can't help but suspect a bit of truth in it. A lot of things start off as rumours first from the "unreliable-paparzzi-who-are-just-trying-to-sell-papers" but some how a lot of the "rumours" turn out to be somewhat true.

I dont know what to believe anymore.

I'm not sure I don't know what to believe sometimes as kawaiikiwi said the paparazi makes up stuff which can be true and may be made up. They look good together but it is sort of ridiculous to say that niki is really upset over the factor that she and kevin broke up. They were always rumoured together but never did they admit they were together. None of the couples admit they are together even if they are together ex. myolie and bosco
