i have already graduated from uni..haha..can anyone guess what i studied?? =P

boscoxmyolie..how old are you? are your parents from hk? i have a hk id and think i can work in hk..if you dont i think you can either apply, or get a visa, and work there for about 10 years then you can get citizenship..

Oh man, you guys are depressing me with school talk.
I feel like giving up, im going to go crazy. Ive done more assignments, papers, and midterms& tests in these past 2 months than ive ever done in my whole highschool years. Im serious.
University makes my heart ache, and when i do get home, its all work work work & i get so tired so quick now adays i have no time for anything. Im so behind in TVB too.
Im working on my commerce degree, but now im having doubt. I dont know, its so fustrating.
Plus, commuting to school is depressing. 4 hours a day, 4 days a week (i have wednesdays off)=16 hours a week. Time is being wasted like nobody's business.
I shoujld have just went to the uni thats a ten mnute drive away from me, University of Toronto Mississauga. I decided to be difficult and go to the one all the way in downtown.

I'm back to watching Burning Flame II... I didn't recall how annoying Leila Tong's character is. Jack Wu looks exactly the same, while Ron, Kennetha and Bosco all look a bit different...

I think I liked Burning Flame II more the first time I watched it. Now I realise how slow-paced the series is, and it's a bit distracting with so many characters as the series switches back and forth between them.

Okay... after one day, I managed to watch 18 episodes!
The second half of the series is so much more interesting... I have 2 episodes left.
I really enjoyed the love triangle between Yoyo, Alex and Flora. I can't say the same for the relationship between Leila, Kevin, Maggie and Wong Hei...

It's already November 15 in Hong Kong... Is the top 5 list out yet? I have a feeling they'll just have the top 10 on the night...

Is anyone watching anything new at the moment?

Thanks for posting honeybee! I also found the top 5 list on wikipedia...
There were a few surprises... I didn't expect to see Sonija and Linda in the Top 5 for Best Actress (with the absence of Susanna Kwan).
I was unhappy that Joyce Tang wasn't in the Top 5 supporting actresses. It's obviously because she's not contracted with tvb... Also for Johnson Lee.
OK, I really think that the nominations and awards are based on your relationship with TVB, and not necessarily about your performances...

so happy for the winners..am happy with all of them this year..except id rather johnson win than wong cho lam..did enjoy his speech though..hehe..am mega happy for nancy wu!! think she had some strong competition in her category..that was one that i couldnt really pick out the winner cos all had pretty high chances..and also wayne! finally!! nearly cried for joy for him.especially when everyone stood up to clap..

was surprised with the final five actresses..linda??? bit soon isnt it..cant believe susanna didnt even make it!! (haha..just read AMs post above and just basically wrote what he wrote)..

am quite disappointed with the turn out of stars though..a lot of them were absent..most of the cast of gem of life was missing..joe ma..steven ma..bernice..niki..looked like only those who were nominated went..but surely they all should all be there for tvbs birthday..wonder if they'd turn up for the gala on wednesday..

I haven't watched Moonlight Resonance, but I am glad that Ha Yu and Michelle won :)
I'm fine with Linda being there, but I really don't think Sonija deserves to be there. Her performance in D.I.E. is definitely not her best. Haven't watched it yet, but I'll download it in a few days.

I'm happy with the winners but I find it weird how many of the actresses were wearing dresses and myolie was wearing a tux it was very awkward to watch. I didn't mind linda in the list but it would have made much more sense if they put susanna in top 5 and not liza but then again tvb love liza so they would most likely nominate her. sonija did well in d.i.e. I don't really mind her in the top 5 either. yep I actually wanted johnson to win too but it was well known that wong cho lam would win because tvb has been putting a bunch of money and trying to boost him up throughout this year it's just like last year how they gave most improved male to amigo who didn't really deserve it that much.

I wasn't surprised to see that Charmaine didn't make it, but I thought it was a bit odd cause she usually does make the Top 5. LOL, I think the Charmaine haters were celebrating...

charmaine didnt have that many series this year, though i think she should have been there for forensics than linda for journey cos though that was suprisingly good, it didnt make the top 10 ratings of the year..was disappointed that sa yee wasnt there..bet you she was disappointed too..

loadsa people who missed out last year couldnt even make it on the list this year..what happened to the likes of chris lai, natalie tong??

Don't know about Chris and Natalie... think cause the 'Improved' lists were already finalised... Some other people I thought would/should be in the improved lists are Jack Wu, Matthew Ko, Fala Chen, Elaine Yiu, Charmaine Li, Sam Chan and Eric Lee...
Sa Yee is Susanna Kwan's character in MR, right?
I kinda 'knew' that Charmaine wouldn't be in the Top 5, but I was really glad that she was nominated for her character from Word Twister's Adventures.

I sort of have to agree with AM I think a lot of the people don't have enough experience to be in the improved category most of the people in AM's list have experience and have acted longer. hopefully some of them can get into the improved categories in the next few years. I also can't wait for the new series.

just finished watching tvb gala show..so funny..wong cho lam, louis yuen and johnson lee were the most entertaining by far..really enjoyed the hip hop dance too but liza kinda ruined it..all the girls looked well hot..especially kate!!

I finished watching it too just today it was pretty good the hip hop dance was good so were wong cho lam, louis yuen and jonson lee I think this years skit wasn't that well done. It was slightly worse then the other old ones. I also liked the part with myolie, linda, bosco, raymond, patrick singing. Most of the things were done pretty good I think liza only did ok in the hip hop dance I didn't think she did too bad.

LOL, something awful happened today! It's currently noon for me... Today is my day off, so I was trying to have a relaxing day... But this morning when I was home alone, there was something wrong with my bedroom door, and when I closed the door, it locked... so I couldn't get into my room... I'm going out with some friends today, so I needed my wallet, my phone, oh and my clothes! Can't go anywhere without my clothes... Anyway, so I sat in the hallway in front of my room trying to unlock it with things... I started poking things into the keyhole, which I must say was a bad idea! I ended up getting things stuck up there...
I was so angry and frustrated... I sat there crying for 10 minutes... LOL
Anyway, I ended up going outside and breaking through my window (which was locked), and climbed in.. I was so happy! The lock of my window broke, but it's fine now... and I can go out now!
How's everyone's days going? Good/Bad?

ive seen the presentation..so many i want to watch..many grand productions next year..i want to watch palace scheme (charmaine, tavia, moses, kevin, michelle yim, susanna, christine), basically a rip off of the korean series jewel in the palace, Heaven and Earth (Nick, Moses, Bowie, Kate, Maggie, Charmaine), the new one with kenix, gallen, anita, joe, ray lui, jamie chik and bernice..and off course..the sequel in on the first beat..ron goes undercover!! =D

I haven't watched it yet, but I've looked at that link that YingYing posted. I didn't read everything; I just looked at the cast and pics. Those series didn't seem really interesting to me. The ones I have little interest in are Burning 3 and the four YingYing mentioned.

AM: That's awful that your door was locked. I think I would be very angry if I couldn't get to what I needed. Good thing you were able to get into your room though.

I love ur new banner AM. What do you guys think about my new avatar and banner? Some of the 2009 series I might skip depending on how I see the first few eps of it. I really think EU is not gonna be that good it's the third installment and they just keep replacing the females it just starts to get old. I think burning flame 3 is gonna be pretty good. As for ada's series with raymond cho, kenny and moses I'll probably give it a try and then see. I will most likely skip the damien lau series the ancient one General Chai and Lady Balsam doesn't interest me that much.
