but i know roger kwok have similar hairstyles in both versions?

and his parents are the same people too (seen from the themevideo)..in SP they werent his actual parents though..not really sure if they are in LMS..

leila in SP was jessica's sister and betrayed her to get the husband she wanted, similar in LMS where leila betrayed jessica and stole her job idea to get the job she wanted...

Roger was kidnapped both times in LMS and SP, but in LMS, it was with Bosco and in SP, it was with Yuen Hua.

In both series, there is this scene where Roger dropped 'stars' from the sky. But in SP, it was a happy ending after that, however, in LMS, Roger left Jessica after that.

They wear the same traditional wedding outfits in both series.

Roger's mother makes sweets. In SP, she makes cookies and in LMS she makes dumplings.

In both series Raymond likes Leila, but in SP he liked after they got married, but in LMS he liked her from the beginning.

In both series, Jessica ends up marrying Roger, but in SP she gets tricked into and in LMS she does it so Roger will do the surgery.

In both series Roger is the son of a rich guy, but he doesn't know it. In SP, he was Yuen Wah long lost son, but in LMS he was Paul Chun's son who didn't really want him because he was dumb.

In SP, he spend time with his real dad (Yuen Wah) to grow seeds (Not too sure if that's what it was, but it was for Jessica's birthday present) and in LMS, he grew a mango tree with his real dad.

In both series, Leila likes the guy who likes Jessica and ends up with that guy, in SP it was Raymond and in LMS it was Bosco.

In both series, Roger and Jessica spend time apart from each other in the last episode and come back together at the end, but for SP that's where it ends, but for LMS, the meet up again and decide to stay together.

In both series, Jessica announces she doesn't want to be with Roger and yells at him and Roger keeps crying. In SP, it was so he could reunite with Winnie, but in LMS, it was so Jessica could make Roger not so reliant on her and she could go and date Bosco.

Added:

In both series, there's an evil uncle trying to steal money from Roger's rich dad. In LMS it was Savio Tang and in SP I forgot his name but he's also in LMS as the guy who sells Roger the mango tree to plant.
