Odd English Phrase That Being Used A Lot

I keep seeing the phrase "not my cup of tea" in many entertainment articles when actors or singers are denying tabloid relationships. Also, they kept saying it in the series "To Catch the Uncatchable." That is a really old phrase. I can't believe people are still saying it. What do you think?

haha, tvb is not english...so it's not a surprise to see them use english phrases that are not really used anymore. maybe they still use it in hk ><

i also heard that phrase a lot but i dont think that it's that old because they still keep saying it and i think its a popular phrase(:

i realized that in Angels of Mission, during the theme intro at the beginning, they use the quote "It is the best of times, it is the worst of times." that is from the famous book A Tale of Two Cities, during the French Revolutions and stuff. it is the quote that starts the first chapter in the story...... it's quite well-known.

That quote is a famous literary quote and mine is just slang. It's not a modern phrase that people would use to explain why he/she doesn't want to date someone. It's weird that people are still saying it in HK.
