I just started watching A Journey Called Life, and I'm a bit confused about Linda's siblings... I know I should just continue watching, but I just want to know... All of Linda's siblings are step-siblings right? They're the children of Helen Ma and her previous husband? Is Stephen Wong older than Linda? I'm really confused...
I've had this question in my head for years, but it only came back to me recently... Was Joel Chan the father of Selena Li's baby in Life Made Simple? I remember that someone said that he was in a game, but according to my memory, that character was played by a minor actor. In fact, I don't even remember Joel being in the series...
Also, I have this scene in my head, but I don't know which series it is from: So there's some sort of gathering at a house, and a guy and girl go together to buy something from a convenience store or something... It was night time, and as they're walking, it starts to pour... They then run under one of those shelter things made of fabric (I can't remember what they're called)... There's a few awkward moments, and they kinda talk... then as they're about to kiss, a hole starts to open in the shelter thing, and a gush of water comes down at them (though they don't get wet)... and so they didn't kiss...
LOL, I JUST rewatched the last generation of Maidens' Vow... The last scene was Charmaine at her restaurant... and in her final narration, she spoke about the lives about the past women in her family, blah blah blah and that everyone woman deserves to be happy/have a good life... And she smiled, and when she looked outside, there was a bright light... To me, that's a positive indication that she has decided to marry Joe, but she needed some time to think over... BUT, my mom, said that because Charmaine said that every woman deserves to be happy/have a happy life, she's decided to remain an independent woman and not marry Joe...
I guess it's down to our own interpretations...
But I really do think that she would have eventually gone to the church, because if she decided not to marry him, what was the point of the last scene in the series? It just seemed so positive and I don't think TVB would have ended the series with them not being together... I think one of the main themes in the series was the ups and downs in Charmaine and Joe's relationships... In the first generation, they didn't get to marry, and both died tragically... In the second generation, they didn't get to have a happy ending together... In the third (well is it fourth? they skipped one right?) generation, they were married, but both died young... and now in the last generation, they FINALLY have a chance to be together, so I think TVB would have given them a happy ending...
