I was thinking that tvb should produce a series of compiliations of Jin Yong Novels. Kinda like Dark Tales.
So they should remake, The Legend of the Condor Heroes, The Return of the Condor Heroes, Heavenly Sword Dragon Sabre, State of Divinity, Demi Gods and Semi Devils and Duke of Mount Deer, and compile them in one series, one after another.
I was just thinking that wouldn't it be cool if they did. Mostly unlikely that they will, but tvb will have remakes of these series in the future anyway.
So does that mean that Heavenly Sword Dragon Sabre 2000, was tvb's last adaption of a Jin Yong Novel? By the way, how old is the author, Jin Yong anyway??
don't know how old Jin Yong is. but yes, HSDS 2000 was the last Jin Yong based series for TVB because he complained that TVB changed his stories too much. though i hate to admit it, i have to agree. the Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain with Charmaine and Sunny was a bit disappointing, they added too much unnecessary things to it that spoiled the series.
sorry, back to the topic. if it's still possible, i really like the idea of yours. all Jin Yong stories in one. but then that means they have to cut a lot of things out to make it fit to a 5 episodes per story thing (since usually every story is about 5 episodes). but still, i really like that idea. and maybe arrange the stories by time period and such.
oic.... but don't you think that would be really long. i don't know, to me it would feel like watching separate series everytime it switches stories. but i think i see what you mean. like showing the stories in time period order and show how each story relates to each other?
like i don't know about you, but i've always wondered when did Demi Gods and Semi Devils took place in history.... was it before the LOCH time, between ROCH and HSDS, or after the whole Condor Trilogy period? anyway, i've always like to link and connect all of the Jin Yong stories together to see how they relate to each other in time period.
